Conflict resolution, or Reconciliation, is conceptualized as the methods and processes involved in facilitating the peaceful ending of conflict and retribution. The dual concern model of conflict resolution is a conceptual perspective that assumes individuals preferred method of dealing with conflict is based on two defining themes. The dual model identifies five styles, they are Avoidance conflict style, Yielding conflict style, Competitive conflict style, Cooperation conflict style and conciliation conflict style.
